Neurobiology of Olfaction

Understanding the therapeutic potential for modulation of olfactory basal stem cells at circuit level.  As well as elucidating the neural circuitry link essential for the olfactory neurons degeneration. 


Pain is one of the primary responses developed by our body to protect us from harm. However, there are numerous pathological conditions, such as diabetes, viral infections, nerve damage, and inflammation that produce persistent pain.

Neurological channelopathies provide an exciting aspect of collaboration between clinicians, molecular geneticists, and cell physiologists to provide a new insights into the biological basis of diseases.

Functional Neurophysiology and Cardiology

From the functional properties of neurons, glia, and brain networks to the disorder of the heart and blood vessels. requires wealth of techniques such as electrophysiology, EEG, ECG, fMRI, calcium imaging, and site-directed mutagenesis to completely understand the etiology and underlying mechanism of diseases.
